Before Your Session

​

  • How early should I arrive for my appointment?

    If it is your first time, it's recommend arriving about 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any necessary forms and relax before your session. Note: There are options to complete forms online ahead of time.

  • What should I wear to my massage session?

    Wear comfortable clothing. If you are receiving a full-body massage, you will undress to your comfort level. You will always be appropriately draped during the session.

  • Do I need to shower before my massage?

    While it’s not mandatory, we recommend showering before your session for your own comfort and hygiene.

  • Can I eat before my appointment?

    It’s best to eat a light meal at least an hour before your massage to avoid discomfort while lying down.

  • Do I need to inform the therapist of any medical conditions?

    Yes, please inform your therapist of any medical conditions, injuries, or allergies before your session so they can adjust the treatment accordingly.

  • What if I am pregnant?

    We offer prenatal massage for expectant mothers. Please inform us at the time of booking so we can provide the appropriate service.

 

During Your Session

  • What should I expect during the session?

    Your therapist will discuss your needs before beginning and will ensure you are comfortable throughout the session. You can communicate any preferences regarding pressure and focus areas.

  • Is massage painful?

    Massage should not be painful. Some deep tissue techniques may cause slight discomfort, but your therapist will adjust the pressure based on your comfort level.

  • Can I talk during my massage?

    It’s up to you! Some clients prefer silence to relax, while others like to chat. Your therapist will follow your lead.

 

After Your Session

  • What should I do after my massage?

    Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and avoid heavy activity for a few hours to allow your body to absorb the benefits.

  • Will I be sore after my massage?

    Some people experience mild soreness, especially after deep tissue work. This is normal and should subside within a day or two. Stretching and staying hydrated can help.

  • Can I shower after my massage?

    Yes, you can shower after your massage, but consider waiting a bit to let the oils absorb into your skin for maximum benefits.

  • How often should I get a massage?

    It depends on your needs. For relaxation and stress relief, once a month is a good frequency. If you’re dealing with pain or tension, more frequent sessions may be beneficial.

  • Can I return to work or exercise after my massage?

    Light activities are fine, but it’s best to avoid strenuous exercise immediately after your session.

  • Do I need to tip my massage therapist?

    Tipping is appreciated but not required. A standard tip is 15-20% of the service price.
